Frequently asked questions
There are two ways to do this:
1: You offer the bike plan for free. This is possible because you have lower social security contributions, and you use the cost savings for your lease expenses. You also use the travel expenses saved compared to lease cars and public transportation subscriptions to cover your bike plan.
2: You encourage the bike plan by providing a reimbursement of €30 to €50. Your colleague pays the rest + 7% addition. You offer this as a secondary employment benefit, as part of your mobility budget, or from your budget for a lease car.
1: No costs, but a bike plan
You can offer a bike plan without a contribution. Most employers reinvest the benefit in employer premiums and pass on the VAT advantage. Often, you can invest without costs starting from €25. Questions? Call us, and we'll be happy to assist you.
2: A bike plan linked to your business objectives
If you have a vitality policy, the bike plan fits in nicely. Many employers allocate an additional contribution or allow colleagues to use the vitality budget for the bike plan.
3: Outside of the WCR/WKR
The addition, providing the bike, and setting up the salary administration correctly fall outside the Work Cost Regulation. Any employer contributions also fall outside.
4: Tax benefit
If your colleague pays part of the lease amount from their gross salary, they have a gross-net advantage over that amount.
5: Mandatory for commuting
At most employers, colleagues can choose whether to use the bike for commuting. However, they pay a 7% addition for the private benefit.
6: Tax-free travel allowance
For the days that colleagues use the Roetz Life e-bike for their work, you cannot provide a tax-free allowance. Of course, you can provide an allowance for days with other transportation. You can also provide a mileage allowance. Let us know, and we'll explain exactly how it works.
7: Implementation with little administration
We help you set everything up digitally, including documents. This allows you to quickly and easily establish a bike plan. You can also link your salary administration to our platform. This way, you can start your bike plan within a day.
8: Optimization
You can fully optimize the bike plan. For example, create different lease categories with different employer contributions. Ensure that your colleagues do not incur losses on pensions, bonuses, or vacation pay. Together, we'll go through the smartest options for your organization.
No, not necessarily. You can also use Roetz Life e-bikes as pool bikes. This way, different colleagues share one bike, each with their own digital key.
